The Proteus Static Hot Box: an ideal way to reduce costs on small blacktop works. Buy your hot materials in bulk, store them in your own yard or on site, then load out into your own vehicles as and when you need them, and in the quantities you need them.
The Proteus Hot Box will enable you to keep blacktop materials for about two or three days. We have developed our burner system based on 20 years experience with Hot Boxes, using clean-burning propane gas burners, which give an even heat distribution throughout the box.
We vent 100% of the exhaust gases internally, giving not only very fast reheating after the lids have been opened, but also an oxygen-reduced environment which helps slow down oxidisation and crusting.
