Proteus now has available from stock a brand new chassis-mounted 9 tonne capacity dual compartment tipping Hot Box.
The unit is mounted on a new 250 horsepower Iveco 180E25 truck, and comes ‘full spec’ including twin worklights and strobes, and powered lids operated from within the cab.

Proteus takes over Elston Hot Box business
We are pleased to announce that Proteus Equipment has agreed contractual terms with WTC Hire to take over its Hot Box hire operations and Elston range of Hot Boxes with immediate effect. The takeover boosts Proteus’ hire fleet and sales range of propane-fueled Boxes to include Elston’s diesel, kerosene and new electric-powered Static and Mobile models.

Proteus launches new BT manhole lifter
We have launched a modified version of the popular Handylift Swinger manhole cover lifter specifically designed to simplify the lifting of BT carriageway lids. In addition to the 2-keyhole lifting ability of the standard Swinger, the new lifter features a unique patented locking plate to interface perfectly with 4-keyhole BT carriageway covers, and comes complete with arced wheel runners for a smoother ‘swinging’ action, and four lifting keys.

Proteus launches new Bituslide release agent
To complement our ‘Bitukleen’ range of environmentally-friendly asphalt cleaning fluids, we are please to announce the launch of a brand new asphalt release agent called Bituslide. Introduced officially at the recent Hillhead Expo, Bituslide is a radical departure from previous products in this field and will significantly reduce the problem of unwanted bitumen sticking to surfaces such as truck bodies.
